Aarna Law announces new partner

Spandana Ashwath has been appointed a partner at Aarna Law where she will head the Intellectual Property team.

She has over ten years of experience in dispute resolution with a particular focus on intellectual property representing clients before the Indian courts as well as in domestic and international arbitrations and mediations.

Speaking about the promotion, managing partner Kamala Naganand said: “We welcome the opportunity to bring like-minded leaders into the partnership at Aarna Law. Spandana’s experience in disputes and IP makes her the right candidate to head our IP team. While her focus has been on IP and data protection for the last few years, her experience in litigation and other forms of dispute resolution aligns with where we see Aarna law growing.  Her hard work, passion for the law and focus on excellence is an inspiration to all at the firm. “

Having promoted Apoorva Guruprasad to the partnership earlier this year, the firm now boasts three women partners alongside founding partner Shreyas Jayasimha.
